At first glance this bar doesn’t look like much, it seems too small and too like everyone else.
Only it’s not, when you walk inside there’s tons of little off to the side tables, and a large bar full of 36 beers on tap.
Unlike most places that call themselves a tavern but still look like just another trendy bar, Stadium Tavern has the look and feel of a cozy tavern.
With endless choices of beer one can get lost in a sea of IPAs, ales, lagers, stouts, and Hefferveisen. The staff there is more then willing to help, and with their prices it’s affordable browse around with your taste buds.
If you go there with a hunger for more then beer or cocktails they have a excellent selection of food that is not limited to the ordinary bar food.
Personally I love to order the Tavern Dip, which is their version of a French Dip. It comes served with your choice of cheese, spicy jack is recommend by this reviewer, onions and horseradish on the side all served on a soft French roll all for around $11.
Another great choice would be their patty melt, around $12, served on marble rye bread cooked to order and served with mushrooms, onions and choice of cheese.
They also have a very filling and cheap breakfast selection. You can get two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, choice of meat and bread all for around $6.
The staff there is the friendliest I’ve seen, and only add to your experience there, after only my second time there I was greeted with a smile and a welcome back.
With multiple TV’s it’s also a great place to watch a game or fight.
Stadium Tavern is a hot spot for locals and if you go more then once you are sure to see some familiar faces.
