Tattooed waitresses serving bottomless mimosas, an outdoor dining patio, the scent of BBQ tri-tip wafting in the air, this is exactly what you’ll find at Downtown Fullerton’s favorite rock ‘n’ roll bar, Slidebar.

Who knew that the bar known for its rock-metal atmosphere would show a softer side every Sunday for brunch?

As you make your way to the patio, you are first greeted by the mouth-watering smell of ribs and tri-tip being grilled on the barbecue.

The variety of food options tempts as the waitress fills the glasses on the table with bottomless mimosas.

Unlike other places that are stingy with the quantity of the popular orange beverage, the waitresses at Slidebar are very generous when it comes to keeping drinks filled to the top.

In the front of the restaurant, there is a room filled with the platters of original dishes from Slidebar, including their famous mac’n’cheese and a few other breakfast items like Eggs Benedict and French toast.

The dessert table was also decorated with crème brulée and an assortment of fruit desserts dipped in chocolate that could conquer anyone’s sweet tooth.

This was a refreshing change to the typical Sunday brunches. For only $25 a plate, you can come dressed in your favorite jeans and t-shirt instead of your Sunday best and it works.

You are welcomed by the waitresses who you may have seen from your trips to happy hour and late-night quests through Downtown Fullerton on the weekends, which has become like a second home to some of us.

It can’t get any better than enjoying delectable dishes in mass quantity with the sounds of your favorite rock music blaring in the background.

For you last-minute planners, this would be a great place to surprise your special someone with a unique Valentine’s Day breakfast that’s sure to please. If your not a fan of the hallmark holiday, it’s also a great place to relax and watch the game and enjoy a few beers with some old friends.
