Daily Titan, California State University, Fullerton, CA

After a year-long investigation, the DEA arrested 75 students at San Diego State University, including 18 on Tuesday. Among the damning materials was a text message advertising the sale of cocaine.

Claremont Independent, Claremond McKenna College, Claremont, CA

17 hours ago by Charles Johnson

Like all children of the 1990s, I danced to Bono's songs and never questioned the wisdom of his policies. Many, including those who brought him to speak at Bridges Auditorium, seem stuck on his celebrity and unwilling to explore the net effect of his various programs.

Banning progress? 3

Los Angeles Loyolan, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA

-27 minutes ago by Jeannette Guck

With a sarcastic exhalation and a roll of my eyes, I can't help but mutter, "Here we go again," under my breath. It's too bad Mr. Rogers is no longer with us, encouraging us all to be good neighbors, because we seem to have run into more problems with ours.

Golf courses suck golf balls and souls 3

Daily 49er, California State University Long Beach, Long Beach, CA

17 hours ago by Bradley Zint

I freakin' hate golf courses. I think they are one of man's most despicable uses of gardening ingenuity, manpower and, more importantly, land itself.

With all the super hero movies flooding the market over the last few years, it's hard to pick the good from the bad. Some have been true to their comic roots and other films have sorely strayed away with poor direction.

With "Iron Man," it is easy to be skeptical of the movie because Iron Man is not as well known as super heroes like Superman or the Hulk.

Who invented beer, and when? Historians are not entirely sure when, but it is presumed that beer was created accidentally by early nomadic tribes roughly 10,000 years ago. What is beer made of? The 5C dining halls: an on-campus monopoly

Claremont Independent, Claremond McKenna College, CA

1 day ago by Hannah Wei

(5/11/08) -- "Hannah, I'm concerned about your cholesterol. Have you been eating Taco Bell and In-N-Out three meals a day, every day?" my doctor asked me. I looked at my athletic frame and wanted to deny the validity of my blood test. But when I really thought about my food intake, namely from Pitzer's dining hall selection, I had my answer - cheesy "ethnic" foods glazed with your choice of hoi sen or soy sauce, greasy hot dogs and pizza...
